I believe the kitchen is the soul of every home — where memories simmer, laughter bubbles, and love is served plate after plate.
I was raised on a dairy farm, a farmer’s daughter through and through. Our days began early — 5am sharp — and before heading out into the cold for morning chores, the smell of fresh pancakes smothered in homemade blueberry sauce filled our kitchen. Comfort in its purest form — warmth, love, and nourishment before a hard day’s work.
When the work was done, we’d come home to something even better — a slow-cooked farm-fresh roast, tender and rich, surrounded by potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery. A pot of love, really. We soaked up every last drop of gravy with warm homemade rolls, never wanting it to end.
But food in our family has always been more than a meal — it’s been tradition.
On my mom’s side, she grew up close to an Amish community, where recipes, cooking tools, and a deep respect for family and hard work shaped her life. She carried those values into our home, showing me that cooking was about more than ingredients — it was about intention, care, and connection.
On my dad’s side, the tradition ran just as deep. He was a dairy farmer from a large farm family who raised nearly everything they ate — meat, dairy, vegetables, and grains. Their table was always full of a beautiful bounty they had all worked together to produce. Side by side, they canned and preserved their harvests, stocking the pantry with jars that carried the flavor of summer well into the winter months. These weren’t just chores; they were lessons in hard work, gratitude, and family unity.
These traditions — from both my mom and dad — built the foundation of who I am. They taught me that food isn’t just nourishment. It’s love. It's a legacy. It’s what binds generations together.
Today, life looks different, but the heart of it remains the same. My mother now lives with me, and though she can no longer cook or care for herself, it’s my turn to give back. I cook for her — those same comforting meals she once made for me — filling our home with the familiar smells and flavors that take us both back to simpler, sweeter times.
That’s why I started Primo Kitchen Supplies. I want to help families create the same kind of meaningful meals — the kind that don’t just fill a plate, but fill a home with love, connection, and memories worth passing down. Every product we offer is chosen with that in mind: quality tools that last, inspired by generations of tradition, so you can create your own legacy around the table.
Because cooking isn’t just about what’s on the plate. It’s about who’s at the table — and the traditions you carry forward.
Welcome to Primo. I’m so glad you’re here.
